What You Will Do
We offer the opportunity to join the Software unit within SSC Connect, which is entrusted to develop and maintain critical systems required to connect our customers with their satellites.
Our core business is to deliver satellite data to our customers, and the Data Engineering team owns critical components in this process. Their software ensures fast and reliable data delivery, as well as providing great observability for our customers and NMC.
As a Data Engineer in the Data Engineering team you will
- Work with data definitions, data/ER modelling, and data quality
- Build and maintain the data platform

You have a European citizenship and can travel within and outside Sweden if needed. As this position is critical to the operations of the SSC Services, it may include outside of standard working hours working and/or being part of an on-call team with up to 1 week on-call per month.
What You Need To Know
- B.S. Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering, or similar experience
- 5+ years of working as a Data Engineer
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with workflow orchestration
- Experience with docker
- Experience with kubernetes
- Experience with ci/cd development
- Experience with data transformation
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Fluency in English
