SHARSID is seeking a dynamic SRP Certification and Food Safety Manager to lead our compliance efforts in sustainable rice production and food safety standards. Reporting to the General Manager - Certification and Extension, you will ensure adherence to SRP (Sustainable Rice Platform), FSSC 22000, HACCP, and ISO standards while driving certification processes across our supply chain.
KeyResponsibilities
- Oversee SRP certification audits, documentation, and renewals for rice sourcing and processing operations.
- Develop and implement food safety management systems, including risk assessments and traceability protocols.
- Conduct training programs for farmers, suppliers, and staff on sustainable practices and safety compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes in India (e.g., FSSAI) and globally, ensuring proactive compliance.
- Collaborate with quality teams to resolve non-conformities and prepare for third-party audits.
- Analyze data on sustainability metrics (water use, emissions) to support SRP reporting.
QualificationsandExperience
- Bachelor's/Master's in Food Technology, Agriculture, or related field; SRP or food safety certification preferred.
- 5+ years in food safety/certification roles, ideally in rice/agri supply chains.
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI, GlobalG.A.P., and international standards.
- Proficiency in audit tools and data analytics; travel willingness (20-30%).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
