About the role

Station Engineer is responsible to Manage, control and co-ordinate line station work while addressing technical issues to achieve high quality standards and productivity levels.
Job Accountabilities
- Direct and guide all personnel in the Team to obtain a high level of task accomplishment and ensure Industrial Safety Regulations, company procedures and best practices in the aviation industry are complied by all staff under purview to ensure zero violation of regulations by the staff. And review of pending audit findings and corrective actions to be planned in order to close all audit findings before overdue date in order to maintain AMO approvals.
- Carry out Aircraft arrival and departure procedures as per the guide lines in the Engineering Manual / Other airlines procedures manual observing all Safety Regulations so that an efficient operation could be maintained. And carryout Aircraft Maintenance and servicing activities using approved methods, procedures, tools and parts on Company and other Aircraft to satisfy maintenance program requirements while ensuring necessary quality standards are met.
- Action Log Book write-ups on Aircraft assigned to ensure positive elimination of Defects reported and non deferment other than due to reasons beyond the station facilities concerned. Communicate with Technical Crew for additional information and clarification of Defects so that it can be used for more effective trouble shooting and rectification.
- Determine the work priorities and manage time and manpower to achieve work targets within the Ground Time available and report accurately on potential AOG defects during transits, short turnarounds and arising from inspections and the progress on maintenance work so that the MCC –CMB or other airlines ops control centers can make decisions regarding delays and changing of flight schedules or other alternate courses of action.
- Prepare station Man-Hour Plan ,Rosters, work performed (Monthly Movements) on Customer Airlines for Invoicing and Monthly reports/forms IAW company Procedures in order maintain Audit readiness.
- Liaise with Maintenance Control Centre and obtain advices on material supplies to support ongoing maintenance work.
- Supervise staff under purview to ensure maintenance of quality standards and high productivity levels to meet or exceed industry norms and Company requirements.
- Enforce adequate housekeeping standards in work area and within Airplane confines to satisfy Airplane safety requirements and to maintain a pleasing and contributory work environment.
- Ensure good documentation standard is maintained throughout in Aircraft Maintenance work, such that Airplane and its associated work records display in real time an accurate and complete description of all work accomplished.
- Carryout specialized tasks in Aircraft Maintenance using special techniques and equipment and primary structure repair certifications to ensure adequate standards are maintained for service release.
- Assist MCC Engineer with specialist advice on request to enable him to make decisions on delay estimates.
- Ensure station holdings are kept as per the company / other airlines procedures.
- Maintain technical documents as per the company / other airlines procedures.
- Carry out timely performance management of staff in assessing their performance and identifying training and development needs leading towards enhanced performance of the individuals resulting in an increased organizational productivity and ensuring industrial harmony.
- Support and contribute towards achieving departmental/divisional initiatives & priorities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance & 01 year experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Hold an AML B1.1 License with active full type approval on one or more aircraft type [A330 (Trent 700) / A320 (V2500; CFM56-5B) / A320 NEO(Leap-1A)].
- Should be an Indian Citizen.
- NOTE: Grade will be decided based on the number of years of experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer and number of approvals holding.
- The maximum age limit should be 55 years as of the web advertiesment closing date, 23rd May 2026.
- Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
