About The Role
This role is a hands-on senior development position responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining Tetra's web-based software platforms. The Senior Web Developer will deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across front-end and back-end components, supporting both new product development and continuous improvement of existing systems. The role works closely with the wider Technology team to ensure that delivery aligns with business requirements, architecture standards, and best-practice software engineering principles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership qualities, and a passion for developing innovative solutions that drive business success.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack / Web Developer with a solid track record of delivering complex web applications. Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and backend API development using technologies such as Node.js. Well-versed in database systems (SQL or similar) and data modeling. Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing practices is essential. A thorough understanding of software engineering principles, clean architecture, and code quality standards. Knowledge of web security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and OWASP guidelines. Experience with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications across core platforms and internal systems.
- Deliver clean, high-quality code using React, TypeScript, and modern backend technologies such as Node.js.
- Develop responsive, secure, and high-performing user experiences aligned with UI/UX and architectural standards.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
- Act as a senior contributor, guiding best practices and implementation approaches.
- Lead by example in code quality, reviews, and maintainable architecture.
- Drive technical decision-making and contribute to solution design.
- Shape and evolve system architecture across frontend, backend, APIs, and data models.
- Build scalable, secure, and resilient systems, including third-party integrations.
- Produce clear technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Own automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) to support safe, confident releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving root cause improvements.
- Champion secure coding practices and reduce defects and regressions.
- Work closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery against clear acceptance criteria.
- Ensure consistent delivery against sprint goals and milestones.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processes.
- Improve build, deployment, and development workflows.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while applying strong engineering judgment.
- Drive ongoing improvements, modernization, and reduction of technical debt.
