Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Web Analytics Professional to join our team in the Kolkata Area. This role will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on website performance, user behavior, and key digital metrics to uncover trends and optimization opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Analytics (GA/GA4), Google Tag Manager, and dashboarding tools, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive digital marketing and business performance.
Primary Job Objective
To lead and enhance LabVantage’s web analytics capabilities by ensuring accurate data collection, delivering meaningful insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across digital marketing and web optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and manage Google Analytics, GA4, and Google Tag Manager across all web properties.
- Conduct regular audits of analytics configurations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with best practices.
- Analyze website traffic, user journeys, and conversion funnels to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio, Power BI, and other visualization tools to track KPIs and communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to support campaign tracking, attribution modeling, and ROI measurement.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve website usability, content strategy, and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay current with emerging trends in web analytics, SEO, privacy regulations, and digital marketing technologies to keep analytics practices cutting-edge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience in web analytics or digital performance roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and tracking implementation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of SEO, digital marketing metrics, and attribution models.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying statistical methods for insights.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, cookie consent tools, etc.).
- Exposure to marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations.
