Role Overview
Umbrella Aegis is looking for a high-energy Sr Video Editor who is not just an editor, but a strong visual thinker and concept creator. You should be fast, detail-oriented, AI-savvy, and comfortable working in a high-output creative environment.
This is a pure on-site role for someone who thrives on collaboration, quick turnarounds, and pushing creative boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, brand films, reels, ads, and short-form content
- Translate creative briefs and raw ideas into engaging visual stories
- Contribute to conceptualisation, visual hooks, transitions, and storytelling
- Deliver fast turnarounds without compromising quality
- Work closely with creative, social media, and brand teams
- Stay updated with editing trends, formats, and platform-specific styles
- Use AI tools to enhance speed, quality, and creative output
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience
- Strong command over tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (AI video enhancement, motion, voice, automation, etc.)
- Excellent visual sense, pacing, and storytelling
- Strong conceptual thinking – not just execution
- Deep understanding of Instagram, YouTube, short-form & digital content trends
- Ability to work quickly, independently, and under pressure
- Good communication and collaboration skills
