We are urgently hiring for Sr. Testing & Certification Engineer in Vadodara location with a leading German based MNC into Electrical, Electronics & Automation manufacturing. Please find the JD and other details mentioned below -

Position:- Sr. Testing & Certification Engineer
Location:- Vadodara
Experience:- 5 to 10 Years
Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics
Job Description (Key Accountabilities):
- Plan and execute qualification tests for company's products (electrical, mechanical, environmental)
- Develop test plans based on specifications and standards
- Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, IS, and other relevant standards
- Coordinate with certification bodies (UL, TUV, CSA) for product approvals
- Analyze test failures and conduct root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Recommend design and process improvements based on test results
- Prepare detailed test reports and maintain validation documentation
- Work closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams
- Support new product development (NPD/NPI) activities
- Maintain lab equipment, calibration, and safety procedures
- Implement new testing methods and capabilities as required
- Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO 17025)
- Calibration of instrument
- Maintenance of lab instrument
- Maintain traceability and proper documentation of all test data and test report.
Job Specification / Experience Required:
- B.E./B. Tech. (Electronics / Electrical):
- Technically sound in electrical and electronics fundamental.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Hands on Experience of safety test instrument and mechanical performance test tool.
- Experience with Third party lab coordination for Testing and Certification.
- Good Knowledge of CE marking, UL, BIS, FCC etc.
- IEC 60730-1, IEC 60730-7-1/2/3/4, IEC 60730-4-2/1, IEC 60998, UL 486C, UL 2459, UL 1059 knowledge
