Position - Sr. Tender Engineer (EPC Project)

Role Summary
The Sr. Tender Engineer will manage end-to-end tendering activities for power distribution projects including 33/11 kV substations, 33 kV & 11 kV OH/UG lines, LT networks, and EHV projects. The role involves preparing competitive, compliant bids through coordination with design, procurement, finance, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and manage tenders from GeM and other e-procurement portals
- Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare cost estimations for substations, OH/UG lines, LT networks, and EHV works
- Develop rate analysis, cost sheets, and commercial proposals
- Compile technical bid documents and compliance statements
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations and internal teams for timely submission
- Handle pre-bid queries, clarifications, and post-tender documentation (LOA/LOI support)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of 33/11 kV substations, 11 kV/33 kV lines, LT networks, ABC, and EHV projects
- Experience in tender preparation and cost estimation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tender portals
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare BOQs
- Understanding of GST, contract terms, and price escalation
