About The Role
The role is pivotal in supporting the development, enhancement, and deployment of internet and intranet-based applications within HDFC Bank. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including solution design, implementation, and post-deployment support. This position demands a proactive approach to technical problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to organizational standards and policies. The role involves engaging with various departments such as IT, Business, Audit, Security, Network, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and application performance. Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, application support, or project management within a banking or financial services environment is preferred. Demonstrable expertise in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices is essential. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required, along with a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures. Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks including Java, React, Node.js, Spring Boot, and SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) is necessary. Additionally, familiarity with RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and mobile/web application development will be advantageous. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate technological trends are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of internet and intranet-based applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational standards.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including requirement gathering, solution architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Business, Security, Network, and external vendors to facilitate project execution and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct impact analysis, risk assessment, and security evaluations for new and existing applications to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance application solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures and emerging technologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions and improve existing systems.
- Document project activities, technical specifications, and user manuals to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and security audits to uphold application integrity and security standards.
