Role Description The Sr Student Counselor will work on-site in Hyderabad in a full-time capacity, guiding students and families through academic and career choices. This role involves meeting students daily to assess their interests, explaining suitable courses, institutions, and career paths, and helping them understand admission and application requirements. The counselor will conduct counseling sessions, seminars, and follow-up calls, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress. The role includes responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing ongoing support throughout the admission or counseling process. The Sr Student Counselor will also collaborate with internal teams to improve counseling materials, contribute to outreach activities, and help achieve enrollment and service goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners in academic and professional decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear, empathetic, and professional interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
- Customer Service mindset to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a supportive counseling experience.
- Understanding of the Education sector, including courses, institutions, and admission processes.
- Additional qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple cases, and maintain organized documentation.
- Prior experience in student counseling, career guidance, or education services will be an advantage.
