Role Description The SR. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER FACADE & STEEL STRUCTURE will lead the structural design and analysis of facade and steel structures for diverse building projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, involving close coordination with internal design teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed structural calculations, reviewing drawings and models, guiding CAD designers, and validating designs against relevant standards and project requirements. The role also includes conducting feasibility studies, supporting material selection, reviewing shop and fabrication drawings, and providing technical input during installation and commissioning. The engineer will participate in design reviews, address site-related technical queries, help optimize designs for cost and constructability, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification MTECH-STRUCTURAL
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facade & steel structure
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with applied experience in facade and steel structure design.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and structural Calculations for steel, aluminum, and glass systems under various load conditions.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and guiding detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant national and international building codes, standards, and facade industry best practices.
- Experience working with architects, contractors, and fabricators on building envelope projects, preferably in high-rise or complex structures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety considerations.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with structural design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar) is an advantage.
