Role Description The Sr. Store Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Gonda, responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, inventory management, and materials control for ongoing projects. This role includes receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials; maintaining accurate stock records and documentation; and coordinating with project, procurement, and accounts teams to ensure timely material availability. The Sr. Store Executive will monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement proper storage practices to minimize losses and damage. The role involves working with vendors, transporters, and internal stakeholders to track deliveries, manage material returns, and support cost-efficient stock management. The Sr. Store Executive is also expected to maintain a safe, organized store environment and prepare periodic reports on inventory status and material movement.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and site staff.
- Experience in retail or store operations, including inventory handling, stock control, and documentation.
- Proven sales or material management exposure, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
- Educational background in commerce or a related field, with the ability to manage basic accounts and stock records.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently on-site.
- Prior experience in store management at project sites (water, power, or infrastructure) is an advantage.
- Ability to adhere to safety standards and company policies while working in a fast-paced project environment.
