Role value proposition:
As a
Lead Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. You’ll contribute to digital transformation initiatives, drive integration efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical applications—especially within the insurance domain. In this lead role, you will guide a development team, ensure alignment with best practices, and drive technical decision making across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the Salesforce development team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura.
- Implement and customize one or more Salesforce clouds: Sales, Service, Experience, or Marketing.
- Leverage Salesforce’s out-of-the-box features while adhering to standard development practices.
- Customize the Salesforce platform with a strong understanding of its security model.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior developers (preferred).
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and testing cycles
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of overall development experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
Technical Skills:
- Salesforce platform configuration and customization.
- Apex, LWC, Aura Components
- REST/SOAP API integration.
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Familiarity with Agile development tools and processes.
Good to Have:
- Experience in the insurance domain is a strong plus.
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
