What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, Agile engineering team, contributing to software development. You will collaborate with remote teams in a multicultural environment and help your colleagues excel. You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, tackling challenging problems with current technologies and tools. Your role includes brainstorming and implementing new solutions and modeling engineering best practices.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications, web components, and tools using modern frameworks, technologies, and engineering best practices
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade features and systems using clean, accessible, maintainable, and testable code with strong focus on quality, reliability, and performance
- Apply strong knowledge of databases, software frameworks, APIs, and platforms to architect, enhance, and support systems operating in production environments
- Participate in the design and architecture of applications, services, and reusable UI/web components actively to deliver robust and engaging user experiences
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, project managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver business impact
- Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment utilizing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and peer code reviews to ensure engineering excellence and delivery quality
- Monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently using testing frameworks, observability tools, and application monitoring systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team growth by sharing technical knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting software engineering best practices across the organization
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- 8+ years Full-Stack development experience or equivalent
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience working with back-end technologies such as C#, Go, Java or other modern programming languages
Preferred
- Experience in designing and developing integration solutions
- Experience in Unit testing and Integration testing
- Ability to lead integration workstream and provide expert-level guidance for complex integrations from Docusign to third party systems
- Ability to provide expert level guidance to team members in developing integrations and interfaces between Docusign and other third party systems
