Description
We are working on a state-of-the-art data engineering and analytics platform for business and operation intelligence. We intend this data to be easily accessed by our users so they can make data driven decisions. We
want to provide classical ways to build visualization and provide agentic solutions towards analytics. This will be the application that all our employees will interact daily. A software engineer will design, develop critical back-end components for the application and help information rendering with intuitive UI. We have projects to add complex user interactions that
involve large data processing and visualizations through agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
Help building various components of the reporting platform from database objects, APIs, backend integrations and UI.Develop utilities in this platform to provide better charting, drill-down and analytical capabilities.Understand the business workflows within tesla and come up with innovative ideas to build useful data tools for self-service analytics and data engineering.Help building AI agentic workflows with homegrown systems.Build unit and functional test cases to automate testing and deployment process.
Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields.5+ years of work experience related to web development and databasesSkilled with Python, JavaScript with strong sense of performant coding patterns and software architectures.Strong understanding of microservice based architecture, authentication/authorization services and API integration is needed.Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins is requiredExperience with charting libraries like d3, echarts is preferredExperience with data orchestration frameworks like Airflow is preferred.Experience in writing unit test cases (Jest, Jasmine) for performance and functionality testing is preferred.Ability to learn quickly, articulate clearly and communicate effectively across multiple channels.
