Role Description The Sr Software role at iDataLytics is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Hyderabad Area. In this role, the professional will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support the company’s analytics, Information Management, and enterprise products and frameworks. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, integrating with databases and data platforms, participating in software architecture discussions, and ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. The role involves collaborating with consulting and product teams, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and contributing to testing and quality assurance activities. The Sr Software professional will also help improve development processes, mentor junior team members, and stay current with modern tools and practices relevant to data-driven and enterprise applications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development, including experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Programming skills (e.g., core languages, data structures, algorithms) suited to enterprise and analytics solutions.
- Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and integration with applications.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Software Design, including understanding of architecture patterns, scalability, and maintainability.
- Candidates should possess experience with Testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, and familiarity with test automation tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in data analytics, Information Management, or enterprise solutions (e.g., BI, data warehousing, mobile analytics) is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in on-site teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
- Knowledge of modern development practices such as CI/CD, version control, and secure coding is an advantage.
