Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai is for Sr. Service Engineers specializing in Electrical and Mechanical systems. The role involves providing Installation, Commissioning & field service for VIM, VAR, ESR, EIGA, EBM furnaces and related equipment, including installation support, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs. Sr. Service Engineers will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform routine inspections, and ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards. The position includes delivering technical support to customers, documenting service activities, and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve complex problems. The role also requires clear communication with customers, training operators and maintenance personnel, and supporting continuous improvement of service processes and products.
Qualifications
- Candidate should be from Machine tool service back ground either in Japanese or German company with strong systematic approach.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems, including fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess Field Service skills, including on-site equipment installation, commissioning, and customer interaction.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and guiding customers and operators.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills, including remote and on-site assistance, documentation, and reporting of service activities.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for vacuum furnaces and industrial equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Experience in vacuum furnaces, heat treatment equipment, or heavy industrial machinery service is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required and work in industrial environments.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
