We are looking for a Senior SEO Manager who combines deep core SEO expertise with modern search evolution, community-driven visibility, and revenue-focused execution.
Role Overview
As a Senior SEO Manager, you will lead organic growth initiatives across search ecosystems for B2B and SaaS clients as well as internal brand growth.
This role requires:
- Strong technical and strategic SEO foundation
- Expertise in modern digital presence optimization including GEO, AEO, and LLM discoverability
- Understanding of user behavior, search intent, and buyer journeys
- Ability to leverage dark social channels and community conversations to drive qualified traffic
- Alignment of SEO efforts with marketing, sales, and revenue goals
- Ownership of measurable KPIs and business outcomes
You will lead strategy, manage a team, collaborate cross-functionally, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for B2B and SaaS clients.
- Build organic growth roadmaps aligned with pipeline and revenue targets.
- Implement modern optimization frameworks including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), entity optimization, and LLM visibility strategies.
- Map SEO initiatives to buyer journeys, ICPs, and content funnels.
- Continuously evolve strategy based on algorithm updates and behavioral shifts.
Technical SEO & On-Site Optimization
- Conduct advanced technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Optimize for featured snippets, answer boxes, and intent-based results.
- Improve site performance and UX signals that influence rankings and conversions.
- Collaborate with developers for seamless implementation.
Content, Authority & Community-Led Traffic
- Drive SEO-led content strategies based on search intent and topic clustering.
- Develop scalable white-hat backlink and authority-building frameworks.
- Leverage digital PR, partnerships, and thought leadership placements.
- Identify and utilize dark social channels (Slack communities, WhatsApp groups, private communities, industry forums, newsletters) to increase brand visibility and referral traffic.
- Monitor and analyze community conversations to identify search demand signals and content opportunities.
- Integrate community insights into content and keyword strategies.
Performance Alignment & Revenue Impact
- Align SEO initiatives with performance marketing and demand generation strategies.
- Understand how organic and paid channels complement each other.
- Contribute insights from search data to improve campaign performance.
- Optimize landing pages and conversion pathways to improve MQL and SQL generation.
Tools, Analytics & KPI Ownership
Lead SEO execution using tools such as:
Define, track, and optimize KPIs including:
- Keyword ranking improvements
- Assisted pipeline contribution
- Revenue attribution from organic channels
- Build executive-level dashboards for clients and leadership.
- Deliver actionable insights, not just reports.
Team Leadership & Client Management
- Lead and mentor SEO team members.
- Review deliverables to maintain high quality and performance standards.
- Act as the strategic point of contact for client SEO engagements.
- Present roadmaps, insights, and results confidently to stakeholders.
- Manage multiple SEO projects within a B2B marketing agency environment.
- Collaborate with content, design, development, sales, and performance teams.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4–8 years of hands-on SEO experience with strong exposure to B2B or SaaS.
- Deep expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
- Strong understanding of modern search ecosystems including entity-based search and answer-driven optimization.
- Experience optimizing for emerging search behaviors and AI-driven discovery environments.
- Proficiency with SEO, CRM, and reporting platforms including SEMrush, HubSpot, Looker Studio, DashThis, and Airtable.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret user behavior and traffic patterns.
- Understanding of marketing-to-sales alignment and pipeline metrics.
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced B2B agency culture.
