Role Description
This is a contract role for a SAP Project Manager based on-site in Santa Clara, CA. The SAP Project Manager will oversee the implementation and delivery of SAP projects, ensuring business processes are effectively aligned with project goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, providing expert guidance in SAP Plant Maintenance, and employing analytical skills to address complex business challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SAP Project Management with experience in project planning, execution, and delivery
- Proficiency in managing and implementing Plant Maintenance and business processes effectively
- Excellent analytical skills to identify, assess, and solve organizational and technology challenges
- Proven track record in project implementation within SAP environments
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent field
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration for process improvements
Required Qualifications:- 12+ years of SAP Project Management experience.
- Proven experience leading SAP ECC global rollout implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple geographies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- PMP or SAP certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end SAP ECC global rollout projects across multiple countries and business units.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management strategies.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage risk assessment, issue resolution, and change management processes.
- Oversee system integration, data migration, testing cycles, and go-live activities.
- Ensure alignment with global SAP templates, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with local APAC SAP consultants (preferred but not mandatory).
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and project sponsors.
