We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong CO-PA and plant controlling expertise to support a manufacturing KPI build initiative. The consultant will work closely with our finance, operations, and BI teams to define SAP data logic, table-level extraction rules, and functional specifications for a suite of plant performance KPIs across multiple North American manufacturing sites.
- Define and document SAP functional specifications for KPIs spanning Revenue, Cost, Inventory, Labour, Quality, and Plant Performance
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, data mappings, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements.
- Work closely with BI, Data Engineering, and Power BI teams to validate KPI calculations against SAP transactional and master data.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis between SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA and the enterprise data warehouse.
- Participate in business requirement workshops and prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), data mapping documents, process flow diagrams, and UAT test scenarios.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business users during testing and production deployment.
- Validate end-to-end business processes across Finance, Controlling, Materials Management, and Production Planning modules.
- Support KPI definition, business rules, and metric calculations for executive dashboards and operational reporting.
- Analyze SAP master and transactional data to identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the BI/data engineering team to validate KPI outputs against SAP source transactions
- Participate in business requirement workshops and prepare functional design documents, data mapping sheets, and UAT test cases
- Strong knowledge of SAP CO tables: COVP, COEP, COBK, CSKS, CSKT, CSKA, CSLA
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI tables: BSEG, BKPF, BSIK, BSAK
- Experience with FI-MM integration: account determination (OBYC), goods movement to FI document flow
- Experience with PP-CO integration
