Job Summary
The Sr. Business development Executive is responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets for the company’s manufactured products. The role involves customer visits, quotation preparation, order follow-up, payment follow up, coordination with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new customers and markets.
Generate inquiries and convert them into sales orders.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Regularly visit customers to understand their requirements.
Quotation & Pricing
Prepare quotations and negotiate prices with customers.
Follow up on submitted quotations.
Order Management
Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for timely delivery.
Track order status and update customers.
Sales Targets
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Reporting
Maintain sales records, customer database, and visit reports.
Submit regular sales reports to management.
Customer Support
Handle customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong customer relationship management
Knowledge of manufacturing products and processes
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, or CRM systems
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience
2–5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing or industrial company.
