Role Description The Sr. Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Pune Division. The role involves managing the complete sales cycle for AUTEC radio remote control systems, including lead generation, qualification, solution proposal, and closing opportunities across industrial, construction, maritime, and mining segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, preparing quotations and technical documentation, and collaborating with customers to understand their application requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. The Sr. Sales Engineer will provide pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinate with service teams for installations and troubleshooting, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. The role also includes market research, participation in industry events, and regular reporting on sales activities and forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- Sales Engineering and Sales skills to manage complex industrial solutions, drive business growth, and handle the full sales cycle.
- Technical Support skills to understand radio remote control systems, assist in installations, and resolve technical issues for customers.
- Communication and Customer Service skills to conduct presentations, prepare proposals, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Experience in industrial automation, cranes, hydraulics, construction equipment, maritime, or mining sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management capabilities, with proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
