Job Summary

The Senior Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across real estate construction projects. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes a safety-first culture, and minimizes risks to personnel, property, and equipment.

• Safety Management & Compliance
• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
• Identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Training & Awareness
• Conduct safety induction programs for new employees and contractors
• Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams
• Incident Investigation
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses
• Prepare detailed reports and suggest corrective actions
• Maintain records of incidents and compliance documentation
• Contractor & Site Coordination
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors on safety matters
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all construction activities
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain safety records, checklists, permits, and audit reports
• Submit periodic safety performance reports to management
• Ensure all statutory safety documentation is up to date
