Role Description The Relationship Manager – Stock Broking is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of retail and/or high-net-worth clients, providing guidance on equity and derivative trading, and promoting suitable investment products. Daily responsibilities include acquiring new clients, maintaining regular contact with existing clients, understanding their risk profiles and investment objectives, and executing trades as per their instructions while ensuring regulatory compliance. The Relationship Manager will coordinate with research and operations teams to deliver timely market updates, resolve client queries, and support seamless account servicing. The position also requires tracking market developments, meeting defined business targets, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and provide clear, unbiased communication.
- Sound knowledge of stock markets, equity and derivative products, and basic concepts of portfolio and risk management.
- Proficiency in using trading platforms, CRM systems, and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to work towards sales and revenue targets while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications such as NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in stock broking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple client requests, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
