Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Senior Quality Manager located in Chakan. The Senior Quality Manager will oversee and implement quality control initiatives, ensuring products meet compliance and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining quality management systems, analyzing and improving processes, leading the quality team, and conducting internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO/TS 16949, and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong expertise in conducting quality audits, defect analysis, and process improvements
- Experience with implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes and policies
- Proficient leadership skills to guide and mentor quality assurance teams, ensuring collaboration and efficiency
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting and customer interactions
- Proven ability to manage and uphold compliance with relevant industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience in the automotive or plastics manufacturing industry is a plus
