Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester with strong experience in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in manual testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
• Prepare and maintain test documentation in Confluence
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a QA perspective
• Support test planning and contribute to overall QA strategy
• Lead testing activities and mentor junior testers (if applicable)

Skills & Competencies

• Mandatory experience working with QA in Insurance companies
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and processes
• Experience in defect tracking and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• ISTQB certification is mandatory
• Prior Test Lead experience is an added advantage

Domain-Specific Requirements

• Strong understanding of Insurance domain processes (e.g., Policy, Claims, Underwriting, etc.)
• Experience working on insurance-related applications/systems

Soft Competencies

• Strong analytical thinking for effective test case design
• High attention to detail in identifying and reporting defects
• Good team leadership and collaboration skills
• Effective communication skills
