About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Anchor Operating System distribution. This role involves designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure the highest standards of product quality. You will be responsible for reviewing user interfaces for consistency and functionality, as well as collaborating with developers to improve overall testing workflows. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in automated testing, with proficiency in frameworks such as JEST and CYPRESS. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the development of industry-leading operating systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with automation test frameworks, particularly Cypress, JEST, or Puppeteer, with at least four years of experience in these tools. Experience in end-to-end test automation for backend, UI, and mobile applications is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, is highly desirable. Proficiency with developer tools including JIRA, IntelliJ, and GIT, along with strong skills in JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS, are required. Additionally, experience in improving test workflows through automation, integrating tools like Slack and GitLab, and collaborating effectively with development teams are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of the Anchor Operating System distribution.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for end-to-end testing, covering frontend, backend, database, and mobile clients.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring swift resolution.
- Review user interfaces for consistency, usability, and functionality, providing feedback for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and incorporate them into existing workflows.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to testing processes, scripts, and results.
- Improve testing workflows by automating repetitive tasks and integrating testing tools with CI/CD pipelines and communication platforms like Slack.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
- Support deployment activities by ensuring that all software releases meet quality standards.
