Role: Sr. Python Developer
Location: Electronic City, Bangalore
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
About the Role We are looking for a Senior Analyst with strong Python skills to automate business Excel reports and underlying logic. The role involves working with stakeholders to gather data from multiple sources and build Python-based automation solutions for recurring business use.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate recurring Excel reports and business logic using Python
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data flows
- Build pipelines integrating data from databases, APIs, and flat files
- Validate, transform, and cleanse data to ensure accuracy of outputs
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented code for business teams
Required Skills
- Python (5+ yrs): Pandas, NumPy, openpyxl/xlwings for Excel automation
- SQL proficiency with SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, or PyODBC
- REST API integration using requests/httpx
- Scheduling tools: Airflow, cron jobs, or Task Scheduler
- Version control with Git
Good to Have
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of Python development; report automation experience preferred
