Job Description: Sr Project Manager
Location: Remote (Pune Residing Candidate)
Work Timings: 6.30PM to 3.30AM IST
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Project Manager with 10-12 years of proven success in driving complex, cross‑functional projects and leading teams to deliver high‑impact business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong executor, and change champion who can lead from the front, build high‑performing teams, and elevate organizational processes.
This role requires exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and people management expertise, along with a strong ability to drive clarity, accountability, and results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources with a strong focus on transparency and accountability.
- Ensure teams meet deliverables through clear communication, structured governance, and results‑driven leadership.
2. Strategic Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with executive leadership, cross‑functional teams, clients, and vendors to align on goals, milestones, and risks.
- Provide clear and concise project reporting, dashboards, and status updates to leadership teams.
- Influence decision‑making and resolve escalations with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
3. People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage high‑performing cross‑functional teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive clarity in roles, responsibilities, and expectations across teams.
4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Review and optimize project delivery frameworks, workflows, and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Champion best practices, including Agile, Lean, and PMO methodologies when applicable.
- Identify gaps in processes, propose improvements, and lead implementation of enhanced delivery models.
5. Risk, Change, and Issue Management
- Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks; develop and execute mitigation strategies.
- Lead structured change management efforts to support adoption of new processes, systems, or ways of working.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (where applicable).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
- 10-12years of progressive experience in project management, program management, or related leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading large, complex, enterprise-level projects with measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in people management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional leadership.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Certification in PMP, PgMP, Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe), or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills.
