Job description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Indore for a Production Head. The Production Head will oversee production planning, manage daily operations, and ensure efficient production processes. The role also requires implementing strategies to optimize processes and ensure compliance with production and safety regulations.
Production Management & Operations
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure timely completion of batches
- Implement production plans and maintain efficiency in operations
- Monitor machinery, manpower, and workflow for smooth production
- Develop and implement efficient production schedules
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials
- Maintain strict adherence to production timelines and targets
- Proven experience in Production Planning and Production Management
- Strong skills in Operations Management and ability to streamline workflows
- Proficiency in Team Management, leadership, and employee engagement
- Competence in Budgeting and efficient resource allocation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and quality control standards
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI standards, hygiene protocols, and food safety regulations
- Conduct quality checks during production stages
- Maintain production documentation and batch records
Inventory & Raw Material Handling
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
- Maintain proper storage and FIFO standards
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for material availability
Team Coordination
- Guide and supervise production staff for disciplined workflow
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and structured work practices on the production floor
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports and records
- Track productivity, output levels, and operational performance
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Technology, Operations Management, or related area)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- 3–4 years of experience in food manufacturing / FMCG production
- Strong knowledge of production processes, hygiene standards, and quality control
- Ability to manage production staff and maintain operational discipline
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
Compensation
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month based on experience and performance.
