Job Description – Sr. Planning Engineer
Position: Sr. Planning Engineer
Location: Manikonda, Hyderabad
Experience: 7–10 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Develop detailed project plans, baseline schedules, manpower histograms, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and client teams for project execution.
- Track project progress and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports and project dashboards.
- Analyze project performance and suggest corrective actions for schedule recovery.
- Monitor resource allocation, productivity, and cost control activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning support.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of construction/project planning methodologies.
- Ability to prepare look-ahead schedules and progress tracking reports.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or related field.
Preferred Industry
- Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate / EPC Projects
