Specialist I - Information Security

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance our global network, security, and remoteaccess infrastructure. You ll work on implementation, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and security hardening to ensure a reliable and secure user experience.
The Opportunity:
- Network Remote Access and Zero Trust
Manage and optimize VPN solutions (SSL/IPSec, Akamai Connector, Zscaler, IIoT platforms).
Support Zero Trust Network Access and maintain authentication services (RADIUS, SAML, MFA, Conditional Access).
Improve remoteaccess resiliency, performance, and user experience.
Deploy and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud network configurations.
Support upgrades, migrations, hardware refresh, and configuration rollouts.
Validate network changes through structured testing.
- Advanced Troubleshooting (L2-L3)
Perform deepdive analysis on complex network issues across onprem, cloud, and remote environments.
Analyze packet flows, latency patterns, bottlenecks, and escalation-level problems.
Drive rootcause analysis and preventive measures.
Manage enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Check Point).
Implement and maintain security policies, segmentation, NAT, and threatprevention rules.
Support IDS/IPS tuning and triage with security teams.
Enforce network security standards and maintain compliance across environments.
- Proxy, Web Security, and Secure Edge
Manage enterprise proxy platforms (Zscaler ZIA, PAC files, Cloud SWG, Explicit Proxy configs).
Configure and troubleshoot outbound web traffic flows, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and CASB integrations.
- Monitor proxy performance and availability, ensuring predictable user experience globally.
Work with endpoint teams to ensure proxy settings and tunnel clients behave consistently across OS platforms.
- Endpoint and Client Connectivity
Troubleshoot VPN and remote connectivity issues for Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
Work with Intune, SCCM, and Jamf teams to align endpoint network and security policies.
Validate connectivity and performance after endpoint policy updates or client upgrades.
- Documentation and Collaboration
Maintain accurate diagrams, configuration repositories, SOPs, and architectural documentation.
Work closely with application, cloud, endpoint, and security teams to plan and implement solutions.
What Are We Looking For:
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of hands on network engineering experience.
Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols (IPSec tunnels, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS).
- Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent.
- Strong problemsolving skills, sense of ownership, and ability to operate independently.
Technical Skills
- TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, switching, subnetting, NAT, DNS, DHCP.
- Enterprise VPN and remoteaccess platforms (SSL/IPSec, Zscaler, Akamai, IIoT).
- Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet.
- Proxy and secure web gateways: Zscaler ZIA, PAC files, SSL inspection, URL filtering.
- Identity and access technologies: Azure AD, Okta, MFA, Conditional Access.
- Ability to analyze packet captures using Wireshark, PCAP tools, and firewall flow logs.
