About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer III to join our dynamic team at CBTS. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with next-generation security solutions, SD-WAN technologies, and complex network environments. As a Network Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems that support our organizational objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize network performance, and implement security protocols that safeguard our infrastructure. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in next-generation security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VLAN configurations.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Manage SD-WAN solutions, optimizing performance and reliability across multiple sites.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent outages.
- Collaborate with security teams to develop and enforce network security policies and standards.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve network outages or performance issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.
