Job Responsibilities -
1. Sales & Business Growth • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (volume, value, and mix). • Drive category-wise growth (Standard, MTB, Kids, Fancy, Premium models). • Improve model mix and premiumization in line with company strategy. • Track secondary sales and retail off- take to ensure healthy primary billing.
2. Distributor & Channel Management • Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and sub-dealers in the assigned area. • Ensure distributor compliance on stock norms, credit policy, ROI, and working capital. • Monitor distributor health: o Stock ageing o Outstanding / overdue o Secondary sales productivity • Conduct monthly distributor reviews with clear action plans.
3. Market Working & Coverage • Ensure effective market working plans (PJP) for self and team. • Conduct regular dealer and sub-dealer visits to improve visibility and conversion. • Identify white spaces for new dealer appointments and expansion. • Strengthen weighted and numeric distribution.
4. Team Management & Capability Building • Lead and guide ASM/DSE / RSE / Sales Executives in the territory. • Ensure minimum daily outlet coverage norms and productivity. • Coach team on product knowledge, selling skills, and scheme execution. • Review attendance, travel plans, and performance regularly.
5. Demand Generation & Marketing Execution • Execute local marketing activities such as: o Dealer meets o Cycle rallies o School & institutional activities . In-shop branding & visibility • Coordinate with marketing team for product launches and promotions. • Ensure effective utilization of marketing budgets and schemes.
6. Product Availability & Supply Coordination
Ensure availability of right models, sizes, and price points as per market demand. • Coordinate with supply chain and HO teams to address shortages and allocation issues. • Avoid overstocking and manage stock rotation and liquidation of ageing stock.
7. Systems, Reporting & Compliance • Ensure usage of Sales Apps / SFA / Bizom / SAP as applicable. • Maintain accurate reporting on: o Sales o Distribution o Stock & OD o Market activities • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and audit requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Qualification MBA/PGDM
Minimum Experience 8-12 years in UP state in consumer durables/Kitchen appliances/Home appliances
• Experience in distribution & channel management
• Strong exposure to distributor-led sales model
• Good analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Should have own car and should be able to drive the car.
Willingness to travel for minimum 20 days.
• Ability to lead and motivate field sales teams.
