Role Description:


The Senior Manager – Sales with strong experience in the Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai market to drive consulting-led sales for Risk Consulting services, including Due Diligence, Corporate & Fraud Investigations, Forensic Reviews, Compliance Advisory, and Security Consulting.

 

  • This is an individual contributor role, requiring deep domain understanding, strong local connects, and the ability to independently manage the complete sales lifecycle for complex consulting engagements. Applicants should note that this is a strictly on-site role in the regional office. Candidates seeking remote or hybrid work arrangements would not be considered.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Business Development & Revenue Generation

Drive sales for consulting services such as:

  • Due Diligence (Employee, Vendor, Integrity, M&A)
  • Corporate & Fraud Investigations
  • Forensic Audits and Reviews
  • Compliance, Ethics & Whistleblower Advisory
  • Asset Tracing


> Achieve assigned revenue and closure targets for the South region.

> Identify opportunities across corporates, MNCs, startups, PE/VC firms, law firms, IT/ITies and financial

institutions.

> Own the end-to-end sales cycle—prospecting, solutioning, proposal development, negotiation, and

closure.

 

 

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and manage relationships with CXOs, Legal Heads, Compliance Officers, HR Heads, CROs, Risk and Finance leaders, as well as Law firms.
  • Understand client risk concerns and position appropriate consulting solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during discussions involving sensitive and high-trust engagements.

 

Market Penetration & Networking

  • Leverage strong professional connects in the region's ecosystem, including legal and advisory circles.
  • Develop referral-based business through law firms, consultants, PE/VC networks, and industry forums.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs.

 

Solution Selling & Proposal Management

  • Work closely with internal delivery teams to develop customized approach notes and proposals.
  • Lead client presentations, scope discussions, commercials, and negotiations within defined approval frameworks.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams post-closure.

 

Internal Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with investigations, forensic, compliance, and security teams to ensure feasibility and quality of delivery.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates, forecasts, and CRM reporting.
  • Share regular market feedback with leadership.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience & Domain Knowledge

  • 10–15 years of experience, with 7–10 years in consulting services, preferably in selling Risk Consulting services.:


Proven experience selling:

  • Risk Consulting
  • Corporate Investigations & Forensics
  • Due Diligence
  • Security Consulting

 

Strong understanding of how DD, investigations, and forensic mandates are scoped, priced, and executed.

Proven track record of closing complex, high-value consulting engagements.

 

South Market Expertise

  • Extensive experience and established connects in the South market.
  • Relationships with Legal, Compliance, HR, Risk, and Finance decision-makers across industries.
  • Exposure to startup and PE/VC-driven DD requirements is a strong advantage.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
  • Excellent communication, articulation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of ownership, discipline, and ability to work independently.
  • Commercially savvy with strong negotiation and closure capability.
