Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru for a Senior Manager - Production. The Senior Manager will oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient operations, compliance with quality standards, and meeting production targets. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring team members, optimizing production workflows, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and addressing operational challenges. The role also involves implementing best practices, ensuring workplace safety, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production unit.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Production Management, Process Optimization, and Workflow Planning
- Strong background in Quality Assurance and Operational Efficiency
- Leadership and Team Management skills with the ability to mentor and guide production staff
- Proficiency in Project Management and Problem-Solving capabilities
- Excellent Communication and Coordination skills for effective collaboration with departments
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations, manufacturing best practices, and compliance standards
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- Experience in the packaging industry or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred
