Role Description
The Sr. Manager - Planning is based in Greater Noida. An experienced and result-driven professional will oversee and manage project planning, ensuring the timely execution and delivery of residential and commercial developments. Responsibilities include creating detailed project schedules, resource planning, tracking project milestones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role also involves regular reporting, risk assessment, and providing strategic input to optimise operational efficiency and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop project plans, schedules, and timelines in coordination with project managers and stakeholders
• Analyse project progress and identify potential delays or issues; provide mitigation strategies and recommendations
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective resource allocation and timely completion of tasks
• Prepare project progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting milestones, achievements, and challenges
• Monitor project expenses and budgets while ensuring adherence to financial constraints Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to manage potential project risks
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Participate in project review meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
• Continuously improve planning processes and procedures to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, codes, standards, and safety requirements
Required Skills & Competencies
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong expertise in project planning and scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and terminology.
• Ability to assess project progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of construction regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in project planning, project scheduling, and milestone tracking
• Proficiency in resource allocation, capacity planning, and timeline management
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and project optimisation
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Familiarity with project management tools
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus
• Experience with leading real estate developers
