Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Senior Manager/ Manager Embedded Systems at mPragati. The Senior Manager will oversee, design, and manage embedded systems projects, ensuring timely development and delivery of solutions for MedTech products. Responsibilities include team collaboration, system design, firmware development, debugging, and integration of embedded systems. The candidate will also work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and contributing to innovation in the MedTech industry.
What we are looking for
- 5-10 years experience and strong expertise in embedded systems design, firmware development, and system integration.
- Proficient in programming languages like C, C++, or Python, and well-versed in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Circuit design and Component Selection. Expertise in KiCAD, Altium is mandatory.
- Experience in hardware-software interfacing and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of medical device standards, regulatory compliance, and certification processes is highly preferred. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 60601. Design History file creation.
- Simulation, Analysis, Trouble Shooting and Testing. Expertise in LTspice and Simulink (or equivalent software) is mandatory.
- Implement lean manufacturing / kaizen / 5S for process improvement.
- Strong leadership & team coordination.
- Ability to innovate and problem-solve in product development within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. A Ph.D. is a plus.
NAMAH Programme at IIT Delhi
NAMAH, a Nailwal MedTech Accelerator Hub is proposed as a full-stack MedTech translation programme at IIT Delhi, leveraging the mPragati MedTech Acceleration Facility. NAMAH will systematically bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and market-ready medical devices by integrating engineering, quality systems, regulatory execution, pilot manufacturing, and clinical validation under a single execution framework.
