Key Responsibilities:
- Align event frameworks with the stakeholder priorities and advocacy goals of First Check (health and infodemic management), Asian Dispatch (pan-Asian public interest journalism), and digital safety and security initiatives.
- Design and benchmark tiered ticketing structures adapted for diverse cross-border participants (e.g., medical professionals, tech leaders, independent newsrooms, civil servants).
- Forecast attendance metrics and execute localised early-bird, institutional, group, and VIP access frameworks across different Asian currencies and markets.
- Create high-yield sponsorship prospectus decks highlighting specific, clear ROI metrics for Corporates, GFSI, Tech, and Healthcare industry sponsors.
- Actively prospect, pitch, and secure monetisation channels that align with corporate trust, safety, and brand alignment metrics.
- Structure and nurture complex relationship models with prominent ecosystem partners, optimizing co-branded initiatives.
- Formulate cross-promotional, cost-sharing, and media-swap models with foreign news networks, think tanks, and academic hubs across South and Southeast Asia.
- Build localized event marketing plans using digital, email, and network outreach channels to hit delegate targets.
- Monitor KPIs, financial recovery, attendee engagement, and deliver detailed post-event reporting to internal institutional and corporate stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in event management, media sales, or conference partnership management, preferably within digital media, policy think tanks, or international development agencies.
- Partnership Management: Proven track record of pitching to tech enterprises and navigating engagement frameworks with governmental/institutional bodies and with success in delivering partnerships
- Financial Modeling: Demonstrated skill in building and managing event budgets, ticket pricing sheets, and sponsorship revenue targets.
- Tools: Proficiency with modern CRM platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot), presentation tools (Google Slides/Canva), and event registration management systems (Zoom webinar / Google meet) etc
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to interface comfortably with high-ranking government officials, corporate executives, and international journalists.
- Geographic Exposure: Familiarity with the corporate, public policy, and media landscapes of India and Southeast Asia; previous experience organizing cross-border or regional events is highly valued.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 20% to 25% regional travel within India and Southeast Asia based on the event calendar. The candidate must possess a valid passport.
