Job Description
- The role will enable the business to make sound financial decisions through business modelling, opportunity and risk assessment, scenario analysis, providing business insights during costing, pricing, capex evaluation. This is a tactical role which contributes to defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit
- s overall results.
Responsibilities
- Identify action levers to achieve business financial targets (revenue and margins) for the business units and sub functions.
- Enable & drive financial process improvement practices across business unit.
- Govern and track all finance and business operations metrics for the BU and sub functions.
- Partner with business units on bottoms up annual operating plan and 5-year Strategic plan to achieve financial targets.
- Co-own product pricing framework and its refinement
- Custodian of financial governance/approvals
- responsible for managing capex approvals and opex
- Provide oversight & action plan to drive performance improvement across financial parameters including but not limited to improving customer profitability, cost optimization.
Desired Skill sets
- Strong background in Business Intelligence and financial planning & analysis
- Experience of working in the technology industry as a financial consultant
- Proven record of coupling business acumen with financial knowledge, to understand business challenges., Deal Pricing on case to case basis
