As Sr. Manager – Direct Sales for Carnelian, the incumbent will direct client acquisition across PMS and AIF platforms by prospecting, pitching, and onboarding HNI and UHNI investors.
The role focuses on building a high-quality pipeline through strategic networking and corporate outreach, while leveraging CRM tools to manage the sales lifecycle and ensure accurate forecasting.
The individual will nurture long-term client relationships through regular portfolio reviews and market updates, ensuring high retention and wallet-share growth through deep alignment with Carnelian’s investment philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end direct client acquisition for PMS, AIF and any other Investment products of Carnelian - from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and funding.
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of HNI/UHNI prospects through referrals, networking, digital channels, events, and corporate outreach.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention, upsell, and wallet share growth.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, performance discussions, and market updates to keep clients informed and engaged.
- Leverage CRM tools extensively to plan, track, and manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Above 7 years of Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
- Existing network of HNI/UHNI clients or family offices will be a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of equity markets/trends.
- Solid grip on PMS and AIF product structure and nuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
