Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Maintenance Technician (Utility & Process), based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The role involves performing and overseeing day-to-day maintenance and repair activities for utility and process equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. The Sr. Maintenance Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute preventive maintenance plans, and support industrial maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime. The individual will collaborate with production, operations, and safety teams to schedule maintenance, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate maintenance records, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and guiding junior technicians in best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance, with hands-on experience in utility and process systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to plan, execute, and optimize maintenance schedules and corrective actions.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or process industry environments, preferably in utilities and production equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards, equipment reliability practices, and basic automation or control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and readiness to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment if required.
