LEAD SYSTEMS ENGINEER
At Wraith Int Tech Solutions, we build intelligent systems combining AI, perception, embedded computing, control, sensors, and actuation for real-world applications.
We are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer with 8+ years of relevant experience to own system architecture, integration, debugging, validation, and deployment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong software and hardware understanding and the ability to lead engineers while remaining deeply involved in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Architecture & Integration
- Design end-to-end systems integrating AI/perception, embedded software, sensors, communication systems, control, and actuators.
- Define system architecture, interfaces, data flows, and technical requirements.
- Drive system-level technical decisions and resolve architectural risks.
Software & Embedded Engineering
- Develop production-grade software primarily in C++ and Python.
- Work across perception, hardware abstraction, control, communication, and sensor–actuator interfaces.
- Optimize systems for real-time, resource-constrained environments.
Integration, Debugging & Validation
- Lead hardware-software integration and system bring-up.
- Diagnose complex failures across software, firmware, hardware, sensors, and networks.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Define and lead system-level testing, validation, HIL/simulation, and field trials.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor engineers across software, embedded, AI, hardware, and systems.
- Break complex objectives into technical workstreams and milestones.
- Drive technical reviews, resolve dependencies, and maintain engineering quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with AI, software, embedded, electronics, mechanical, testing, and product teams.
- Communicate technical risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly across teams.
- Own problems that cross disciplinary boundaries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, with strong exposure to systems integration and production engineering.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Experience integrating multiple technical subsystems into a functioning product.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, software-hardware interfaces, debugging, and integration.
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- AI / Computer Vision / Perception
- Embedded Systems
- Sensors & Sensor Interfaces
- Control Systems
- Communication Protocols
- Robotics / Actuators
- Edge Computing
- Experience with system-level testing, validation, and failure analysis.
- Ability to lead engineers and drive technical objectives to completion.
Preferred
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with autonomous/semi-autonomous systems, robotics, unmanned systems, drones, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, or defence technology.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, RTOS, HIL testing, sensor fusion, perception pipelines, or distributed systems.
- Experience with GPU/AI accelerators or edge AI platforms.
- Experience leading engineering teams or major technical workstreams.
- Experience with field deployment and high-reliability systems.
The Engineer We Are Looking For
You think in systems, not silos. You enjoy working across code, hardware, sensors, logs, and testing. You can move from system architecture to subsystem-level debugging, make decisions in uncertain situations, and focus on solving root causes rather than temporary problems.
Most importantly, you care about whether a system actually works in the field, not just whether it works in a demonstration.
Why Wraith?
At Wraith, you won't be limited to a single subsystem. You will work at the intersection of AI, robotics, embedded systems, computer vision, and intelligent machines, work directly with engineering and leadership teams, and have the opportunity to see your technical decisions translate into real-world systems.
