Broad outline of the Role
- The Managed LAN & Wi‑Fi Provisioner is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, and activation of enterprise wired and wireless network services. The role ensures timely and accurate deployment of LAN and Wi‑Fi solutions in line with approved designs, security standards, and service‑level agreements (SLAs).
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
- 5-7 years relevant experience in network infrastructure implementation and configurations.
- CCNA, CCNP or HPE-ARUBA ACP-CA & NSE
Other Knowledge & Skills
- Hands experience with various OEMs like Cisco Meraki, Catalyst, HPE Aruba and Fortinet.
- Routing, Switching and IP Knowledge
- Experience in implementation, deployments and configurations with documentations.
- Wireless network certifications preferred.
- Knowledge in networking concepts.
- Knowledge of Switch configuration, ports, access ports, trunk ports and port security and spanning tree protocols
- Knowledge in Network Access control like ISE, CPPM, ForeScout and FortiNAC
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and activate Managed LAN (switching) and Managed Wi‑Fi services for new installations, expansions, and approved change requests
- Configure switches, wireless access points, and network controllers/cloud dashboards
- Implement VLANs, port profiles, SSIDs, authentication mechanisms, and guest access services
- Integrate LAN & Wi‑Fi services with DHCP, DNS, NAC/RADIUS, and firewall policies where applicable.
- Ensure configurations comply with approved HLDs/LLDs, security policies, and network standards
- Perform post‑deployment testing, validation, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Execute approved changes and provide provisioning‑related incident support (L2)
- Coordinate with design, operations, field, and customer teams for service activation
- Maintain accurate documentation including as‑built configurations and service activation reports
- Update provisioning activities and closure details in various systems.
