Position: Full Stack Lead Developer (Hands-On)
Location: Remote / Global
Type: Full-time / Contract-to-Hire
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Lead Developer with strong expertise in modern web technologies, AI integrations, and scalable cloud-based architectures. You will be instrumental in building, integrating, and scaling TruBot AI’s product suite — working directly with the founding team to shape the future of an emerging AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, build, and deploy scalable web applications using Next.js, React.js, Node.js/NestJS, and MongoDB.
- API Development & Integration: Develop clean and efficient REST APIs and integrate third-party services, including AI models and social media APIs.
- AI & Cloud Integration: Implement Azure OpenAI and other AI models into applications to enhance automation and intelligence.
- CI/CD & Deployment: Configure and manage Azure App Services with GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following industry best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and leadership teams to translate business goals into robust technical solutions.
- Performance & SEO Optimization: Ensure high performance, security, and SSR/SEO optimization for Next.js applications.
Must Have
- Minimum 5 to 15 years experience
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Proficiency with Next.js and React.js for front-end development
- Experience with Node.js or NestJS for backend services
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services and GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
- Strong understanding of REST API development and integration
- Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their integration into applications
Good to Have
- Experience integrating social media APIs (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter)
- Knowledge of Stripe (subscriptions, payments, and billing automation)
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI and prompt optimization techniques
- Understanding of SSR and SEO management in Next.js
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment
