Role Description
bEdge Tech Services is seeking experienced and dynamic Sr. Java Mentors for a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad. The Sr. Java Mentor will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior developers, designing robust Java-based applications, writing high-quality code, and troubleshooting issues. Responsibilities also include conducting regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best coding practices, and assisting in the professional development of team members. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and efficient software solutions will be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core Java programming, with a thorough understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS or React.
- Familiarity with database design, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience, with the ability to guide and develop a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
