What You Will Do
The Sr. Information Security Analyst acts as the primary technical escalation point for cybersecurity operational activities. Aids in developing and invoking escalation procedures to coordinate an incident response plan. Conducts complex incident response activities and acts as a senior technical escalation point for Managed Services providers and security analysts. Isolates problem trends and ensures that
troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found.
Assumes the role of the Intrusion detection specialist and monitors security alerts, computerbased events, and logs within the enterprise environment. Determines the damage caused by detected intrusions, identifies how an intrusion occurred, and recommends safeguards against similar intrusions. Configures and coordinates vulnerability assessments and corresponding remediation activities.
Installs and maintains organization-wide security systems. Configures security software, including tools for monitoring, traffic analysis, intrusion detection, virus/spyware/malware detection, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Vulnerability Management, Identity Management, etc. Works with vendors and internal resources to conduct period health checks and drive incremental improvements in security
systems.
Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department. Contributes to departmental productivity and development objectives by participating in training programs and works closely with team members and peers from different IT functional areas (network, database, applications, etc.).
Demonstrated management and decision-making skills concerning Information Systems policies, processes and procedures, with a proved track record of completing tasks and/or project on schedule. Documents cybersecurity processes, policies and procedures suggesting revisions or additions as appropriate. Provide cybersecurity support for the production environment to maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Performs duties in a cost-effective manner to avoid overuse or waste of resources without jeopardizing quality of care and service in alignment with IT Security Service Level Agreements established by IT Leadership. Maintains competency and enhances professional growth and development through continuing education and conferences.
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management, 3rd Party Risk Management, and Application Security tools
Extensive knowledge and hand-on experience with managing security within a large M365 environment
Extensive knowledge of firewalls, network infrastructure, and network monitoring solutions
Extensive experience supporting and managing cybersecurity for global ERP instances
Experience in both Cloud-hosted and On-Premises infrastructure
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable policies and procedures
Strong documentation, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
7+ years of experience
Bachelors Degree in IT/ Cybersecurity/ Related Field
