Job Title: Sr IT Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Systems Engineer to support enterprise server environments and modern hybrid cloud platforms. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, supporting infrastructure operations, and driving technology improvements across global environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for enterprise server infrastructure and regional technology stacks
- Manage and support hyperconverged infrastructure platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in virtualized environments
- Support migration of workloads from on-premises systems to hybrid or cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Lead onboarding of new sites into support models and manage related activities
- Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance activities
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and infrastructure support
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Travel as required (approximately 15%)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise server environments
- 5+ years of experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., PowerShell or similar)
- Experience with IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent)
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with networking technologies and protocols
- Experience with data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Relevant technical certifications
