About the Role
One of our clients is seeking an IT Security & Automation Engineer to enhance system efficiency and strengthen security compliance through automation and vulnerability management.
This role focuses on patch management, security operations, and continuous improvement of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze IT systems and processes to identify automation and improvement opportunities
- Design and implement automation solutions aligned with business requirements
- Maintain automation tools and frameworks to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure vulnerability compliance by monitoring security threats and implementing remediation strategies
- Develop and deploy automated solutions (scripts, tools, patches) in a scalable and sustainable manner
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective patching solutions
- Support end-to-end delivery of security operations projects
- Follow Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning and execution
- Coordinate implementation of new technologies, tools, and processes
- Monitor patching and compliance performance, recommending continuous improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT security or server administration
- Strong knowledge of patch management tools and processes
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in enterprise or corporate IT environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automation tools for patch management
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
