Role Description The Sr. Interior Designer (Whitefield) role at Interiors Spaces is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will lead design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, development of design concepts, and preparation of detailed drawings and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, material and finishes selection, FF&E coordination, and collaboration with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The Sr. Interior Designer will oversee project timelines and budgets, conduct site visits to monitor progress, and provide guidance to junior designers to maintain quality standards and consistency across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically cohesive residential interiors.
- Solid understanding of Architecture principles and their application in interior layouts and structural coordination.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, detailed layouts, and technical documentation for execution.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in senior or lead design roles.
